Made in Detroit

Made in Detroit

Hand-poured, in small batches, in Michigan.

No factory, no shortcuts. Just soy wax, favorite lines, and a lot of care, poured one batch at a time.

How they are made

The slow, careful way.

1

Poured by hand

Each candle is poured by hand from 100% soy wax, a few at a time.

2

Made in small batches

Small batches mean I can keep an eye on every candle, so quality comes before volume.

3

Cured and checked

Candles rest and cure before they are labeled, so the scent and the burn settle in.

4

Labeled and packed

Labels go on by hand and orders are packed with care, ready for their first cozy night.

What goes in

Simple, honest, and made to enjoy.

Our candles are made with 100% soy wax and poured in small batches right here in Detroit, Michigan. We keep our claims to what is true, because trust matters more than buzzwords.

What you get is a candle that feels handmade because it is, with a long, clean, golden burn and a scent chosen to suit the story.

A little local pride

Made by a reader, in the Motor City.

This started at my kitchen table and grew into a real little business, and it has stayed close to home the whole way. When you order a Booked candle, it is made and packed by a reader in Michigan who is genuinely glad you are here.
